Barclaycard Payment Solutions are seeking a talented Propositions Manager to drive the development & delivery of compelling and profitable customer strategies, value propositions, and related commercial activities that support the commercial plan.
What you’ll need?
Experience in using market, customer & competitor insight to develop compelling value propositions (customer, product, etc), and bringing them to market successfully
Commercial awareness & management – able to understand financial information / business P&Ls and use commercial levers to maximise revenue opportunities, whilst ensuring a customer-centric approach to all activity to create win-win solutions & propositions
Experience in driving positive P&L performance from marketing & commercial activities
Analytical acumen & the ability to think strategically – can identify, size and explain a business opportunity
Leadership skills – in particular, the ability to lead cross-functional teams, ensure buy-in to own projects & activities, and deliver commercial benefit
Strong communication & influencing skills – able to share concepts / opportunities / actions to gain buy in across multiple stakeholder groups, incorporate numerous perspectives, and evolve projects & strategies to meet stakeholder requirements
Ability to execute – able to manage projects to a high standard from end-to-end, delivering activity that evidences a tangible business benefit
Ideally, prior knowledge & exposure in payments- or technology-related industries

The role holder will be responsible for:
Leading the BPS commercial strategy and proposition development across a number of customer segments
Creating, articulating & communicating compelling customer value propositions to drive new client acquisition, and existing customer retention & cross-sell – with a particular focus on growing Barclaycard’s payment gateway product revenue across industry verticals, and leveraging our strong position in payment processing
Planning, developing & delivering marketing & commercial activities (e.g. marketing campaigns, sales collateral, events, thought leadership) within key customer segments in conjunction with stakeholders
Being the lynchpin in leading cross-functional groups of colleagues (incl. Sales, Marketing, Product, Analytics, Customer Experience) to continuously drive this customer-led strategy. Ensure detailed customer & marketing insights are captured and inform the business strategy, customer literature & marketing materials are developed which reflect our proposition, and that new opportunities are identified and capitalized upon, by employing commercial strategies across all relevant channels
Developing & delivering ongoing detailed analytical assessments of commercial opportunities, supporting segment prioritization and orientating stakeholders around a customer- and vertical-led approach to commercial strategy
